Strolling around Cambridge, UK

Cambridge-2

Gee, its been a busy couple of weeks at work but fortunately the weekend’s in sight now. Yay!

Today’s post is of some photo’s I took when I was in Cambridge recently for a conference. I was only in town for about 2 and half day’s, most of which was spent at the conference venue. Fortunately, each day finished around 6pm so I was able to wander with my camera and soak it this beautiful town’s ample sights. I’d never been there before but friends and fellow bloggers had told me it was really something special. I wholehearted agree.

I’ll include two images I shot as an 3 bracket HDR. I’d like to be able to tell you what I was taking a photo of but truth be told, I have no idea. I got lost wandering around the lane ways and just liked what I saw. If anyone knows any of these buildings, please accept my apologies and maybe you could enlighten me in the comments below :-).

Thanks heaps, Xandré. I feel like I’ve hit a bit of a brick wall with my post-processing and I’m just trying to chip through to the other side. Funny how we get like that sometimes. I cross processed slightly for these – blues in the shadows, yellow in the highlights. The first shot turned out best I think; well, for taste anyway.

      1. I know what you mean Distan!! Lately I’ve hit a wall with photography… which sucks…. but I’m hoping our trip to SA will motivate me again!! These shots are really great… interesting choice with the cross processing, but it works extremely well!!! I hope you develop to where you are content (at least for now)!! I’m still loving all your images! – so unique!! 🙂 **

Oh Dina, I completely understand how you could be homesick. Even though I was only there for a couple of days I can truly appreciate what a wonderful place Cambridge is. I’d love to really spend some ‘local’ time there. Such a great place.
