Event: Africa Konnect – Hair, Makeup & Fashion Show

I’m briefly interrupting the posts on our recent North American holiday so I can share with you some photo’s I took last Saturday at the inaugural Africa Konnect: Hair, Makeup & Fashion Show. My beautiful friend and work colleague, Dorothy, invited me along knowing my interest in photography. Her niece, the gorgeous Christine Zemura, was one of the featured make-up artists for the Fashion Show so the opportunity to shoot some of her amazing work was irresistible. Her artistic pedigree is already impressive having worked on the UK version of the X-Factor and being featured in numerous magazines. Christine only recently relocated here to Sydney and her support of the rich and growing African-Australian community is a testament to her character and passions.
