Garden portrait shoot : Mia & Caitlin part II

I’ll keep it short tonight; suffice to say these images are of the beautiful Mia – Caitlin’s good friend. Both these girls have the world at their fingertips – singers, dancers, creatives, keen and astute minds. What a combination!  I almost pity the young men whose hearts I’m sure they’ll break in the years to come. Your friends and families must be so proud of you!

Canon 7D | EF 24-70L | Handheld | Post: Lightroom 4

Above: Mia. Personally I think this looks like a shot from some fashion magazine. Gorgeous!

Note about the post processing. For those that are curious, these shots (and those from the previous post) have all been crossed processed – yellow in the highlights and a darker yellow in the blacks. The shots done inside by the window where done using green. As always, I’d love to hear your thoughts. Happy Friday!

Thanks Xandré. It was one if those shoots where I had to suppress my excitement because each frame was looking better than the last. It’s just that faint worry that they’re not going to be as sharp on the computer as they appear on the back of the camera. Fortunately, I had a greater than 90% keeper rate. I was very happy indeed 🙂

Thanks Karen; I’m trying to do a bit more of it. Sometimes it works well, other times its still a bit bumpy. Practice, practice, practice. I admire those that can do those photo collages well. Wish I could do it faster or have a better system than I do at the minute as its quite labour intensive.

These are great, I really like the ones where you have collaged more than one image.

Thanks Leanne. Wish I could create them a little quicker; they’re a bit fiddly.
