Hi everyone, Happy New Year from Sydney, Australia!!! Just got back from watching the fireworks explode over our beautiful harbour. Here’s a few snaps from our neck of the woods. Have a happy, peaceful and prosperous 2013 everyone. I’ve got to be up in a 3 hours – I want to take some sunrise shots at Bronte beach again. Love those first rays of the new year. Cheers!!!
PS. Sorry for the brief hiatus over Christmas too. I hope to catch up with everyone soon 
GORGEOUS! It’s only 2:49pm here! I’m loving reading these international posts where people are already celebrating.
Well it’s 6.57am here now and I’ve just been shooting some photos down here at Bronte beach, Sydney (just around the point from Bondi). Time to head home and process some of these shots – unfortunately it was too cloudy to grab the first rays of the new dawn but the suns burning through the haze now. Its going to be hot one. I look forward to people posts on your side of the world soon. Happy new year from the land downunder!

Not this year. We thought making a 4 year-old stay up for the fireworks would end badly. I hope to make Sydney in the future though – it’s pretty special, from the looks of your photos.
I have to admit that Sydney kind of blows Melbourne away on the whole fireworks front. Must go up to catch the fireworks…
